This Week in ScienceInterview with Dr. Kirsten Sanford and Justin Jackson from This Week in Science, we talked about doing science on the radio and the great and funny things about making science relevant and entertaining, while keeping out the misinformation.

Theme = the best of Karl’s collection of nerdy science music.

This was a great and fun show to do. Kirsten and I have been meaning to talk to each other both inside and outside of a live studio for a while. So when it came time for me to leave Davis for grad school, we quickly put this all together. At the last minute, it turned out Justin was able to show up and lend his brand of humor to the show as well. The following week, I was on TWIS (show description, MP3), and we took some pictures of the three of us. When I get them, I’ll put them up here, but for now I’ll just have their podcast graphic. Always a delight to talk to the hosts of TWIS, and anything I can do to keep Justin in fear of losing his spot will keep him being funny indefinitely.
Next: the final live Davis show of The Inoculated Mind, with PZ Myers, Ken Miller, Ariela Haro, The best science fiction music ever, and a few surprises. I’ll post it as soon as a bit of tricky editing is finished!
