Many of you may have heard of the legendary Ariela. She’s been on my show a couple times, she’s been referenced in several blog posts, and she followed me to Madison Wisconsin. She’s not a stalker*, she’s my lady-love! And finally, after hours on hold with tech support, only to work out the bugs on my own, her new sociology blog: Sociologique, is up! I came up with her subtile and put it in without her noticing:

She’s been waiting to start blogging for some time, and so she’s got a few essays already written on her computer waiting to go up. Her first one is A Lil’ About Me. Check it out.

Living with Ariela, I find myself talking and thinking about social issues a whole lot, and Ariela ends up thinking about science, too. From time to time, I’ll be writing posts related to both sociology and science, and I’ll put them up on both blogs. Whenever she writes something about science and my nerdiness, or more importantly, addressing a social issue related to the stuff I also write and think about (think GE crops and health-food culture), I’ll let you know about it.
* Strangely, a couple months ago, someone searched for “Ariela Haro Madison WI” on google. Twice. Go away sicko. She’s mine. :)
